Glacial Errata, No. 61
Five Things for the Week of March 9, 2026.
One: Werckmeister Harmonies (Béla Tarr, 2000)

Two: Red Desert (Michelangelo Antonioni, 1964)

Three: Personal Shopper (Oliver Assayas, 2016)

Four: The Threepenny Opera (G. W. Pabst, 1931)

Five: BIBLIOMANCY!!
Ok, so, next week, Glacial Errata will get a tad bit interactive.
I have two very large bookcases which house most of my weird books, and maybe they have some secrets or answers for you!
Here’s what to do:
Think of a question you have on your mind. Don’t tell it to me at any point; it won’t work if you tell me what the question is. Just think about it.
Respond to this newsletter with the following information:
Bookcase: Left or Right
Bookshelf: There are six shelves on each, so choose a number between 1 and 6
Book: I dunno, there are probably 50ish books per shelf? So let’s say choose a number between 1 and 50
Page Number: Some books are small, some are big. Pick a number. Player’s choice.
For the first five people who respond, I’ll provide you with the first full sentence that appears on the page you’ve selected. And then it’ll be up to you to interpret its meaning and whether or not it answers your question!
(People who’ve been to my apartment and have a vague idea about which books are where are ineligible. Void where prohibited by law, the Nevada State Gaming Commission, and huckster psychics.)
GOOD LUCK!!
